- Just north west of Blackheath is a well loved climbing area, and some foot pads to a great cliff line with wide views of the Kanimbla valley. A relatively flat and short walk starting at 9.30am (approx 3hrs). Some of the track is rough, indistinct & scrubby. There are options to explore and or extend the walk to the Browntown climbing/abseiling area which would involve a 2-3km return walk along the railway road. This area hasn’t been burnt. Grade 3M
