Spiral Canyon is located off the Deans Creek Trail on the Newnes Plateau. There a four abseils. The walk in and out is 5km fire trail and one Km through bush. Spiral is not a great canyon but it is good in Winter because it is dry. The exit along Deans Creek is pleasant walking. The return to the fire trail involves a scramble up a rock face.
