Blue Gum Swamp is a popular on walk at Winmalee in the lower mountains. The 8km walk is all on track with a few muddy sections. The walk follows a fire trail to a wonderful area of blue gum forest. There is a steep ascent to Beesnest Ridge for great views of the Grose Valley. A climb on a rough track takes us Grose Head South. From here we retrace our steps to the car park. This walk is suitable for less experienced walkers.
