Cliffs and Gullies Around Tootie Creek

- Description
- Park on Hanlons Rd N, Bilpin, walk north above Front Creek, then east and descend into Back Creek at around GR 706 924. Traverse north, then west below the cliffs, till around GR 701 927, looking for a historical feature called Powells Pipe, described by J. Carne in 1908. Next, descend towards Tootie Creek and traverse above and/or at the bottom of the gorge to the west, till about GR 691 926. Explore the gully to the north, then climb to spot height 611 m, turn east and walk back to the vehicles. About 6 km. Scrambling and exposure. Partly exploratory.
