- Start the new year off by floating and swimming down the beautiful Du Faur crk canyon near mt wilson. If there is time we'll checkout the lower section of bell creek canyon. On and off track, scrub, scrambling, wading and long swims so a wetsuit and lilo/surfmat (the durable canvas/pvc type of lilo/surfmat) are needed. Distance approximately 14km, ascent 385m and descent 385m. Possibly a long day and the first half of du faur canyon is exploratory to the leader.
