We will leave cars near the Dumbano Tunnels access point and head ENE along a series of ridges before dropping into Dumbano Creek and following it downstream. We will continue along the creek until we run out of time or energy, or get to a section we can't reverse. All off-track. The creek section is exploratory for the leader. Expect lots of slippery creek walking and rock scrambling, scrubby sections, and some swims (so you may need a wetsuit). Participants must be capable of long swims with a pack. Estimated 8-12 km with 200-300 descent/ascent.
