With 32 degrees maximum forecast for Blackheath on Saturday Hat Hill Creek is a great Summer trip. The creek has little waterfalls, short swims, wading, open creek sections and constrictions with beautiful mossy walls. There are pools to relax in while enjoying panoramic views. Members must be confident swimmers. Wet suits are recommended. Helmets and dry bags are compulsory. I have some for members to use. There are no abseils. The walk is around 9 km and will be conducted at a slower pace.
