We explore the historic network of tracks behind the Hydro constructed by a master stone mason, late 19th and early 20th century. We start at the hotel and access the tracks from the northern end. We then visit most of the famous landmarks named by Mark Foy, the property's flamboyant and eccentric creator. About 10-12klms, up to 400m decent/ascent, mostly on track with some rock scrambling. As we start and finish at the hotel, no car-pooling is required. Hopefully, we'll be able to see some of the interior of the property as well!
