- From Watertrough Hill we will descend to Bell Creek and explore a short section of the creek (<1 km) that satellite and LIDAR maps suggests is fairly open. There may well be some deep wades. Hopefully we will be able to avoid swimming but that is not guaranteed, so participants must be prepared and able to swim. The creek section is exploratory for the leader. It will be a short walk, all off-track, with some rock scrambling and ~300m ascent.
