- Meet at the lower car park for Mt Banks. Follow the fire trail around Mt Banks to Frank Hurley Head (spectacular views if not misty) and on to David's Crevasse. From here the fire trail deteriorates markedly, continue on the trail along the Explorers Range towards Zobel Gully. If time, interest, and opportunity permit there is an old mining adit in Zobel Gully to inspect. Return the way you came. From David Crevasse new to leader.
