- This walk starts and ends at Watertrough Hill on BLOR. The trace of a similar walk is given in the links section below (photos). It follows some attractive ridges which are not frequently visited. The first part of the walk heads NE then north down Narrow Ridge – called this because, well, it’s narrow. It crosses Bells Creek by route which looks more and more unpromising as you approach the creek but is surprisingly straightforward. Having said that, a tape will be used to ascend the gully after the creek. We then head north up the ridge and return down the parallel ridge to the west. Again, the crossing of Bells Creek involves a sort of “Secret Seven” descent. Then it’s a pleasant ridge walk back to Watertrough Hill. Estimated time 5 to 6 hrs.
