- This walk is suitable for experienced walkers. Pyramid Rock is situated in Carne Creek.. We drive to the Newnes Plateau and park on Fire Trail 7. Our walk takes us to some huge caves in the cliffs, including the Rain Cave, the Gemini Cave and the Double Arch Cave. There are some exposed ledges. We descend into the valley and walk to the base of Pyramid Rock. Climbing to the top of the rock is optional. We return through Miracle Pass.
