- The walk starts after a long drive along the Newnes plateau (SUV desirable). The walk is all off track and goes through varied terrain including open forest, rain forest and huge sandstone cliffs with hand stencils. However most of the day is spent wandering along a plateau, usually covered with wildflowers and dotted with pagodas.
