- The Arch in Arch Canyon is a 30m high and uniquely positioned parallel to Arch Creek. Its 15m wide, the almost level top is 1.5m wide and 2.5m thick. We park cars at the end of Waratah Ridge Road, then follow the old road east to spot height 996, then south east to spot height 972, before descending the spur and crossing at the start of Arch Canyon. Once on the other side its less than 100m from the Arch. It involves exposure and rock scrambling, distance of around 14km, ascent of around 300m, mostly on track.
