Description
The Miner's Pass is a challenging route off the North Face of Mount Solitary. The walk begins from the locked gate on Kedumba Valley road and follows the fire trail, then walking track up Mount Solitary, crossing the Kedumba River and ascending the Col along the way. The Miners Pass starts at the top of a steep gully about half a kilometer before spot height 919. Once down, we follow a ridge to the Kedumba River, near its junction with Jamison Creek, before re-joining the fire trail and the walk back. This is a hard walk only suitable for the fit and experienced. Approximately 19 kilometers with about 9 kilometers on fire trail.
