- From the Galah Mountain Rd, descend East to a section of Rocky Creek downstream from Death Trap Canyon. Follow the creek downstream before climbing over one of the many shoulders of Mount Budgary and returning to Rocky Creek further upstream. Investigate some side creeks along the way. All off-track. Estimated 350m ascent. Exploratory for the leader. It could be an easy day or a hard day! Be prepared for steep rock-scrambling, creek walking on slippery rocks, and dense scrub. Agile, experienced walkers only please.
