- No bookings until 16 November. Experience the excitement of abseiling pink granite waterfalls. Galong Creek begins at the end of the Megalong Valley. We follow the creek for less than 1 km to two delightful abseils in pink granite. Depending on water levels there are some thigh deep wades. Spikes on the side wall make scrambling easier. The pool below the falls makes a pleasant place for a break. We continue further down to more pink granite pools and waterfalls that can be scrambled. A steep climb out on Butterknife Ridge takes us high above Galong Creek. We descend into the creek and follow it back to our vehicles.
