Boars Head and Devils Hole Abseiling

- Boars head provides a series of good abseils some with magnificent views out over the Megalong Valley. The highlight is the traverse through a 'crevasse'. In the Boars head section there are 5 abseils the longest is 55m. Following this the exit up the Devils Hole, above which is a huge choke stone which we will climb up to and then abseil back down into the hole before finishing with a short climb back up to the road. The route is in places very exposed, particularly the 'crevasse' but we will have a traverse, so a head for heights is needed. It is also exposed to the weather and with a wind blowing through can be very chilly at this time of year. You will need all your canyoning gear but it is dry, Total abseils 6, longest 55m, distance 4 km, ascent ~200m.
