Description
This is an exploratory walk around the cliffs of Hat Hill Creek, taking in some little known passes. A car shuffle will be set up between Hat Hill car park and Anvil Rock. Beginning at Anvil Rock we follow the cliff line NW to Bennett LO then descend part way down Brownes Path above the Grose Valley. There are some exposed sections. Returning to the cliff top we walk S on Bald Head Ridge then follow a track SW on a ridge leading to the end of Hat Hill Creek. There is some scrambling to reach the creek and a rope may be used. Below is a lovely waterfall through circular holes in the rock above. We continue a short distance along Hat hill Creek then return to the ridge that takes us to Hat Hill and our vehicles.
