Situated off Sunnyside Ridge on the Newnes Plateau this adventure involves abseiling and squeezing through narrow cracks. The cracks are only a short walk from the vehicles. We abseil into the Diamond Cavern then use a rope to climb out of Crack of Doom Two. A walk along the cliff top brings us to Crack of Doom 1, a very tight squeeze. An alternative is a 25 m abseil. We return to the vehicles by a pleasant exit gully. Hazards include cliff edges and squeezing through narrow cracks.
