- This 8 km walk is to Dargans Arch and Goochs Crater. We park off Sandham Rd, Bell, then a short walk takes us to Dargans Arch, a remarkable rock formation. Walking N along an open ridge brings to the Upper Wollangambe River. In the past there has been a log crossing, however, there are several crossing points. We continue to a high pagoda for great views then on to hte camping cave next to Goochs Crater. We can spend time exploring the upper rim of the crater as well as the lower area. Billabong canyon is nearby. It has a waist deep pool so we will just look without entering the canyon. Our return walk takes us behind the quarry and along Sandham Road back to our vehicles. This walk is suitable for less experienced walkers. About 40% is on track.
