- Description
- Despite its name, Death Trap is a beautiful, fun canyon on the Newnes Plateau, in upper Rocky Creek It is not Twister Canyon. The canyon has one 20m abseil down a sloping waterfall. There are pools, slides and jumps which are a lot of fun. The walk in and out is only 3 km each way, with great scenery and huge boulders. Wet suits are recommended. This canyon is suitable for less experienced canyoners.
