The Galong Creek walk is grade 4 and involves rock hopping and boulder scrambling to cross creeks. It is around 6 km total distance in very rugged country. There are some 2 -3 m rope assisted drops and very steep ridges to climb and descend. The pink granite, boulders, creek bed and waterfalls are spectacular. There may be a thigh deep wade around the edge of a pool.
