Description
The Grand Canyon is a beautiful canyon, with a long, sustained constrictions. It is very popular because of its easy access. We will be adding an extra dimension as we will do it in the dark. We will meet at Neates Glen car park along Evans Rd Blackheath at 8.00pm and commence the walk in (about 35 minutes) Have a head torch ready as we pass through a short dark tunnel along the way. Grand Canyon is one of the best night canyoning options in the Blue Mountains. The walls are lined with stunning glowworms and the fact that most of the canyon is quite flat allows sections of it to be completed with head torches turned off. Bring Headtorch, wetsuit, dry bag, change of clothes, some snacks. This trip will take us at least 4-5 hours as we will stop along the way, switch off our headlights and enjoy the glowworms. We should be back at cars around mid night.
