Great West Walk Penrith to Parramatta Sections

- The first of a very long walk - which Ross and I are hoping to complete over any and all of our free weekends over the next 6 months or so. Join us for a section or the whole lot. Some will be short some long, some roadway, some tracks - we are just curious to do it. Full details at https://greatwestwalk.com.au/. In this section we will start at Penrith Station and walk to Rooty Hill Station on Friday stay at the Rooty Hill Novotel then start again the next day from Rooty Hill station onwards to Parramatta finishing Parramatta station Saturday night before training home. We will be doing all sections by public transport. Each day will be approximately 30 km but there is very little elevation so so we estimate about 7 hrs walking each day.
