A repeat of the walk on 17th June as we explore the historic network of tracks behind the Hydro constructed by a master stone mason, late 19th and early 20th century. We start at the hotel and access the tracks from the northern end. We then visit most of the famous landmarks named by Mark Foy, the property's flamboyant and eccentric creator. About 12k-15lms, 500m decent/ascent, mostly on track but some quite rough steep with some rock scrambling. As we start and finish at the hotel, no car-pooling is required. I plan to start with a brief tour of the hotel and give some historical context.
