- Description
- The walk starts on the Bells Line of Road (BLOR) about 1.5 km east of Bell (See attached GPS trace.) It heads down Kamarah Ridge and cuts south towards Jungaburra Brook (JB). We join a climbers’ ledge half-way down the cliff line, follow this east on the northern side of JB, cross over the brook and continue west along the southern side of JB. We climb up onto the western end of Wilkinson Hill (WH) and visit some great viewpoints on the west and south of WH – Kestrel Lookout, Corkscrew Rock (not shown on this trace). We head north off WH and follow the ridge back to BLOR. Total time approx. 6hrs. Walk half off track through open bush. Limited exposure.
