- Private property access has been arranged. Park at GR 790 997 on Long Ridge Trail and descend into a gully to the north west. Leave the gully when it turns north and traverse under the cliffs, generally north east. There are great views and caves to see, including the amazing Exploding Star Chamber. Continue up the Long Ridge Knife-edge spur, with more spectacular views along the way. About 6 km. Scrambling and exposure. Partly exploratory.
