- Please note there are some changes to this trip due to some track closures. It will now just be a two day trip. This is a through trip. Beginning at Narrowneck we will do the Castle Head abseil. Then walk up Mt Solitary. Camp there. Then follow the old Miners Route off Mt Solitary (abseil in places). Then walk back to Katoomba via the fire trail through Jamison Valley and up the Giant Stairs at Echo Point
