Ranon Brook Canyon is off the Bells Line of Road near Mt Bell. It’s a lovely canyon and not a long day. The exit is up Mistake Ravine where we’ll climb up three waterfalls. There are a few short swims and deep wades. It involves exposure and rock scrambling, abseils up to 10m, distance around 3km and elevation gain of around 200m. Wetsuits and all the usual abseiling gear is needed. This trip is suitable for grade 2 and 3 canyoners.
