- Description
- A day to practice skills such as: safety, movement, teamwork, communication, rope management, knots, abseiling, self belay, self rescue using prusiks and/or mechanical ascenders. This will be coving skills at the competent grade 3 level, so if you haven't been canyoning for a while it will allow you to brush up your skills and hopefully learn some new ones. In the afternoon following practice we plan to do Sleeper, a short but pretty canyon. Distance: 3km; Terrain: rough track/off track, rock scrambling, abseiling; Ascent: 200m; Wetsuits: not required
