- Size 8 Canyon is a narrow dry canyon past the Glow Worm Tunnel with 1 abseil up to 20m. Named Size 8 by Yuri because of its narrow constriction. Size 6 Exit, named on a previous trip involves a climb up through a tight constriction, then a crawl up a sandy slope in a confined area. It involves exposure and rock scrambling, distance of around 6km, ascent of around 140m, on track and off track. Must have a VT Prusik and be proficient in using it. All the usual abseiling gear is needed.
