- Pulse First Aid at Hazelbrook will conduct a Snake bite Treatment course on Sat 5 Nov, 2pm to 4pm. The cost is $30 and includes a snake bandage for each person. The course begins with a presentation from one of Australia’s most respected herpetologists, Neville Burns. Neville lives in the blue mountains and is an expert on local snakes. He is a most entertaining speaker and had the audience enthralled with his snake encounters, hospital experiences and depth of knowledge. There will be plenty of time for questions. The session concludes with Frances Davidson from Pulse First Aid, demonstrating the correct application of a pressure bandage.
