- Above Carne Creek in the G.O.S. Nat Park are a number of spectacular cave-like overhangs of enormous size including Weather, Rain, Michelangelo, Gemini and Twin Arch Caves. I intend to visit all of these and maybe a couple of others. This walk is usually done in conjunction with a visit to Pyramid Rock in the creek valley but we are not doing that on this walk. We do however, climb back to the top of the escarpment via the aptly named miracle slot. I have graded this walk as 4MH even though it is mostly off-track, but it does follow a well-travelled route and is not hard in any way. Only about 3-4km so it will be a liesurely pace with plenty of picture taking opportunities and an early arrival back at the cars. Access is off the Gloworm Tunnel Rd. via a short drive along Firetrail No 7.
