The Flying Carpet is a remarkable feature in the Carne Creek cliffs. It is only 2 metes wide and projects horizontally from the cliff face. After driving along the Glow Worm tunnel road we walk through open bushland to the cliff edge. here there are great views of Carne Creek. We follow the cliff line to Koan Cave then use ropes to reach the carpet. After descending we continue under the cliffs, climbing out through a very pleasant gully and returning to our vehicles. This walk is for experienced bushwalkers.
