Tiger Snake is situated on the Newnes Plateau near the Old Coach Rd. It is an ideal canyon for less experienced canyoners. The walking through great pagoda country will be at a leisurely pace. There are 4 abseils. The final abseil, 25m, into a dark chamber is spectacular. The walk in and out is 5km each way. Tiger Snake is a dry canyon. There is a knee deep pool at the base of abseil two. After it the canyon is completely dry.
