This is a re-run of the trip planned for 21 Jan that was washed out by cold, windy and wet weather.
This is a really impressive canyon and although wet has no abseils. The entry is down Twister Canyon with a couple of fun water jumps and slides before entering the magnificent Rocky Creek Canyon itself. We follow the canyon down to Budgary Creek before returning back up Rocky and a short climb back to the cars. The walks in and out are short the total round trip is only about 4 km. I have put this on a Friday as it is a popular canyon and can be quite busy on the weekend.
Wetsuits are needed as it is a wet canyon as are approved climbing/rock sport helmets.
