Wollemi Creek Crawfords Lookout

- This walk was entirely new to Joe and me (but it will, of course, be familiar to others). We will head past Hollow Rock near the car park, then slightly west of north along a ridge, through the cliff line and along a small creek to Wollemi Creek, approx. 3 km up from the junction with Munee Creek and 4 km from the Colo. This is a reasonably clear route, but all off track. We walked down Wollemi Creek, which was intermittently overgrown, towards the junction with Munee Creek. There are many pools suitable for cooling dips. Then it’s a short walk up to Crawford Lookout, a couple of scrambling sections being involved. A tape will be taken. This is an even more distant walk for the UBMBC than the Grassy Creek walk on Nov 2nd, but I think it is worth it. A link with maps and photos is attached.
