- Set up a car shuffle. Park at the barrier at the national park boundary on Mount Irvine Road. Descend into a large tributary of Bowens Creek to the north and follow it downstream exploring side creeks as far as the time allows, then find a way up to Mount Tootie Road. About 6 km. Exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.
