- Description
- Bowens Creek Sth Branch is located on the Bells Line of Road. The four abseils are suitable for less experienced canyoners. It is a long day including three abseils in the upper constriction, a detour to explore part of Corkscrew Canyon, some excellent creek walking and a long constricted dark section. If we a lucky we will experience beams of light. There are some swims (30m) in the dark, deep wades and scrambling over slippery rocks. There is a steep climb out and a 2km walk on a fire trail.
