Fortress Canyon is a good canyon, with some nice canyon sections lower down. But the highlight is at the end of the canyon and then the walk back. It is not only a good canyon but is also a great bushwalk. It is a fairly easy canyon with only one abseil, so it is good for those new to canyoning. It is also wet with a number of swims and a good jump into a deep pool so wetsuits are needed as is abseiling gear.
