- Description
- Penrose (aka Crooked Crevice) is on the Newnes Plateau near Tiger Snake Canyon. It is a very tight canyon where you squeeze between the walls. There are three abseils. A short drive brings us to Alcatraz canyon, (named after a nearby prison farm). This canyon has one spectacular abseil down a curving waterfall into an enclosed bowl. You can change clothes immediately after the abseil. . There is a short walk in and out.
