- Pipeline Canyon is at Newnes in the Wolgan Valley. It is suitable for less experienced canyoners. There is a steep climb up the Pipeline Track. The canyon has about 9 abseils, ranging from 5 metres to 22 metres. At the end of the canyon, we have an additional abseil which is 38 metres. We then follow the Pipeline Track back to the cars. Wetsuits may be required for a few short swims and deep wades. Abseils are suitable for all members who have done the training sessions. An early start will be required.
