- Description
- The Glow Worm Tunnel Road is open for the school holidays then closed on Sunday 16 July. This is a good opportunity to visit two canyons. The road may be closed for some time. There will be an early start. Tiger Snake is a popular short canyon with four abseils suitable for beginners. The walk in is all on track. The final abseil is into a dark chamber. If time allows we can visit Penrose Canyon after Tiger Snake. It is a short, tightly constricted canyon with 3 abseils. Abseil 2 is very tight and is not for large people.
